Welcome to YurthWorks

STUDIO

I spent almost 10 years as a Lead Photographer taking and manipulating images in the video game industry.
So I LOVE to put magic in a bottle with my camera both for fun and for work.
To me, the ENTIRE WORLD is my studio.
I have a smaller Studio in my basement that I play around with, but I also travel around the country
teaching Continuing Education Courses to show Dentists how to capture the images they need in their practices.

Here are some examples of things I have shot:

PEOPLE and PETS are my favorite things to shoot under the studio lights

I love FLY FISHING.  So here are some of what my son and I have caught on the water.

It is fun to shoot ACTION shots. Usually of things flying though the air

My FAVORITE place to shoot is FROM THE AIR,
Usually hanging out the side of a Heli with the door off  ;-)

Capturing natures BEAUTY is like putting magic in a bottle.

Sometimes the most interesting things are the smallest, and hardest to shoot.
Here are some of the small wonders I have captured using my MACRO.

Since I have so much experience behind a camera, I have decided to use my knowledge to help other people, including dental professionals learn Photography. I specialize in teaching people how to shoot good INTRA- & EXTRA_ORAL photographs.

So I teach Continuing Education classes at dental conferences and for private practices.

I have taught many Dentists and their staff members about dental photography over the years.
I am presenting 2 workshop sessions at the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference in Bellevue, WA in June of 2016 for 3 hours each.
I posted some of the important points to remember from my long PowerPoint presentation as a PDF for people to pull down and review in order to better understand the fundamentals of how photography works.
